I look up at the individual to that Lu threw the orb. I see a woman around 196 centimeters or 6.4. Her crown has two wings on each side. Seeing from my height, the wings on the crown probably contain Lapis. At the same time, the rest of the crown is gold with a giant Ruby in the middle of it. Dark violet hair flowing while complimenting her light purple eyes. She is a little more white than I am. Her brownish-red colored wings gave off a powerful breeze. Her armor is made of gold, lapis, and ruby. Looking at her legs. Two giant knee pads made of gold, lapis, and ruby. She also has a massive sword behind her back.
Who is this person? She has a strong presence and contains a lot of dark magic. "uhh," I get cut off by Lu saying something. "Lars, what are you doing here?" I sense some dislike when she says the sentence. "Lars? Oh her!". Lu sharply looks at me. "You know her?" I suppose I'll tell her. "Yes, I know her. I have a deal with her. She has her base in Orgate, and she doesn't bother anyone in my country, and in return, I give supples to Lars." Lu just looked at me then back to Lars. "I will repeat myself. What. Are. You. Doing. Here?" Lars simply looks at me before acknowledging Lu's existence. "Hello, Alora, how are you?" I give a thumbs up to her, signifying my day is going well. Lars then looks down at Lu.
"Are you sure you should be trying to threaten me with your height, Lu?" She smirks while looking a Lu. I continue to look at the two while Lu retorts. "It's not the size that matters. It's the magic behind it." I can tell these two have chemistry. I should probably stop this before it gets worse. "I can sense you two have chemistry, but why do you two hate each other? The way I see it. Lu, you despise this woman." Lu takes a breath and looks at me. "Mortal, before you ask, she and I are both terrestrial gods, so we have known each for a long time. She betrayed me when we knew each other, and I lost a lot. "She took a deep breath and walked away. While she was walking away, she grabbed an orb and then sat on the grass and threw it in the air, and caught it with her hand to entertain herself.
"What exactly did you do?" I asked Lars. She just looked at Lu. Then looked back at me. "I betrayed her when she needed me the most. Ever since that day, she hated me." I point to the ground and use the orbs to make a bench big enough for us. "Come sit, and we can talk. Plus, I have a question for you anyway." I sit on the bench and put my hand on the bench to signify for her to sit. She walks over and sits on the bench. "Fine, what kind of questions do you have?" she asked me. "Well, what's a terrestrial god mean? I heard Lu mention it, but I don't know exactly what it means."
"Well, alright, I'll tell you. A terrestrial god is mainly known for being a lesser being than actual gods. A god becomes a terrestrial god by breaking the Treaty of the Gods. I think there are five terrestrial gods in existence currently. If you're not counting the two humans trying to be gods." I then hear Lu speak up. "It's six terrestrial gods now!" Lars sighs to herself. "As you can see, Cthulhu here is better at keeping track of what's going on." I think she is good at keeping track because she can travel through rivers and the ocean? I might have to ask Lu later.
I heard Lars mention the Treaty. "Treaty of the gods?" She responds. "The Treaty of the Gods is a Treaty stopping all of the gods from interfering with the people on this planet." It makes sense. I never did see gods that often. Oh! Yes, I want her to continue. "May you continue, Lars?" She nods her head and continues to talk. "I broke the Treaty three times while Cthulhu broke it four times. The first time for both of us was at the same time. I don't want to get into specifics, but that's how we got downgraded to terrestrial gods." After Lars finishes talking, it takes a while for her to continue. It must be hard for her since she must remember the betrayal she did towards Lu. "Continuing forward. I tried not to break the Treaty once at all. But Lu broke it again, and I could've stopped it from happening this time. She didn't ask me to, but I witnessed what happened, and if I said something, it would've stopped Cthulhu from taking consequence." I speak when she finishes talking, "What are the consequences for breaking the Treaty?" She continues, "Suppressing a god's power is the consequence. When Lu broke the Treaty, her power was suppressed by 15%."
That's quite harsh if you think of it. "Well, what else happened?" I asked quickly. "The third time was my fault. I know it was. I discovered Clockwork, a new country, so I wanted to explore it with Cthulhu. When I told her about this new country, she went one day earlier than I had planned, and she got noticed by humans thinking they were a god. He was strong, but with Lu having 85% of her power, she had the upper hand against the guy until his final move. The Spirit Breaker. The supposedly strongest sword magic in existence. He used it against Lu, but she dodged the attack, but the attack was powerful enough to cut the continent in half. Disturbing nature and messing with the season on that continent, and that's why there's a giant sword cut going through the new continent."
"So that explains the strange cut going through the new continent and the major climate of that continent." I was going to say something, but lars interrupted me. "I wasn't finished, but I shall continue. After that, Cthulhu personally asked me to defend her when the Reader came down. But I never helped, and that's when she felt betrayed. Not a single word. I stayed quiet" There's silence between us before I say something.
"What was her punishment since you never helped her?" Lars looked at me. "Since Cthulhu used her power to fight back against the person. Which, in return, caused the person to use their power. She lost 80% of her power. Right now, she only has 5% left of her power. She's still strong with that, but she'd struggle against a strong enemy."
"Then what happened after that?" It took some time for her to respond, but Lars spoke up again. "It went downhill for me. First, she lured me into a false sense of security by breaking the Treaty for another time. She asked for my help for the last time and-" I gently shook my head at her. "Hey, I already know. You don't have to repeat it. I can tell you have a lot of guilt doing it." Lars took a while to respond. "She tricked me twice into breaking the Treaty. The first time I broke it, I lost 20% of my power." I was a little bit surprised. "What? Aren't you in your complete form" "Technically, I am, but I only have 80% of my full power." That doesn't make sense- Lars stopped my thinking since she continued. "Well, the second time I got tricked was happening straight from the beginning. Right after my betrayal, she had this plan from the very beginning. She made me start the war between the Arctic Empire and Dragonia." I gave her a shocked expression. "Are you telling me that started because of you? I remember that happening when I was only thirteen. It was important because it was the very start of the National Assembly. I think I remember the reason why it started. The Arctics army occupied the giant magical rock they wanted since magic was slowly becoming the most vital force in the world. Nobody knows why the King told his army to do it since he was forced to go into exile, so he left the continent."
She takes off her crown, looks at it, and says, "My crown is from the giant magical rock. I already have a lot of magical potential within me. You know that giant strange piece missing out of that rock and why the rock can't be touched since it's surrounded by demonical magic." She puts her crown back on and looks at me. "That was because of me. Cthulhu tricked me into breaking a giant piece off, and since I was still in my complete form, I did. But the force behind my punch didn't break the rock, so I had to use more potent magic. So I tried darkness magic, not even a crack.
Then I broke Article 25 of the Treaty. Don't use demonical magic. I did the piece of rock broke, but there's a thing about demonical magic. It has a radius of attracting any living organism towards it. This was when part 2 of Cthulhu's plan took action. She used her manipulation magic, which could only last for hours unless she wanted to control them completely. She manipulated the King into sending a small force of 5,345 military men near their border, and we both know that the Dragonians own the stone, but it's still close enough to the Arctic border. So the tiny militia went to the rock, and I was freaking out since I broke the Treaty. Cthulhu did the final part of her plan. She manipulated the army into thinking that stone contained diamonds which made them occupy the stone. Which the Dragonians noticed immediately, and you know what happens next."
That's a new look at the war. Now I know why it started. I need to store this information in Anchors' database. "What exactly happened? What was the consequence?"
"I broke the Treaty. The first using demon magic and the second started a war between the humans. The Reader made me into my incomplete form, which was horrible. Since when I downgrade my forms, I lose a lot of my power. When I was at my preliminary form, I had 0% because of the suppression from The Reader. Since she didn't want us to be completely helpless, she let me have 1% power when I was incomplete. That's how Cthulhu got me back. She wanted me to lose a lot of my power."
I pat her shoulder to try and comfort her. "Why did you even use demon magic from the begging?" I ask with m hand still on her shoulder. "Well, that article was added after Cthulhu, and I turned into Terrestrial gods. Since I don't go snooping, I didn't know. So when I used demon magic, I thought it was just fine, but Cthulhu told me afterward it was breaking Article 25. Since I was too surprised I broke the Treaty again, I forgot to ask why she didn't tell me sooner. Now when I ask, she just ignores me."
"My last question before I stop bombarding you with questions. How does one get their power back?" She looked at me. "Well, I can't until you make a Cathedral for me since I need that. Then a magical book I made ions ago will appear. I use that to contact the Reader to have my power back. For Cthulhu, I don't know. You'd have to ask her."
I get off the bench and stretch. "I feel like we were on that bench for hours. Anyway, thank you for your time, Lars. Oh, I never asked why are you exactly here?" Lars gets up as well and stretches before answering. "I came here since you never brought us supplies for three weeks. We tried to see if Fiona was at your capital, but she wasn't. So I came here to Dragonia to ask for supplies, but the Dragonian army threw me out. But I saw you and came over to ask you for the supplies."
"Oh, I can. I physically can't, but if you head back, I'll contact Anchor to deliver it to you. Since I am going to Animal Kingdom with Lu." Lars nods her head and spreads her wings, and mentions something, "Thank you. Before I leave, can you give us three times the usual amount since it's been three weeks?"
"Of course, I can ." I wave goodbye to Lars as she flies off. I look at Lu, throwing the orb in the air to cure her boredom. Then she suddenly speaks up. "Before you ask Mortal. You can't just make a cathedral for me since I am the only god who didn't try to have a religion so that it wouldn't work for me. Even if you join, that would only be two people. I would need at least five people for the cathedral thing to work. So we're going to go to The Reader's cathedral so I can ask her where my power is. I do have to tell you since Lars forgot to. I accidentally broke the Treaty, and she made multiple temples around this continent where my power is located.
If you are wondering, I can't just swim through rivers and oceans because my power teleports everywhere when I get close to a temple. So I need to ask The Reader where the true power is, so it doesn't teleport away."
"Lu, before we leave, I need to send a message to Anchor. Can you please wait a second?" Lu slightly nods her head and turns around, staring at the sky. I grab an orb that contains wind magic and write on some paper saying. "Hey Anchor, please deliver three weeks' supplies to Lars." I put the form on the orb and sent it back to Orgate. It should reach Orgate in a day or twelve hours.
I look over to Lu and walk toward her. "Hey Lu, are you able to ever reconcile with Lars?" Lu walks away from me and speaks, "I don't want to talk about her. she can fucking die for all I care." I jog up to her and speak up, "Hey! Watch your profanity, Lu. It isn't polite to say that about someone." We both walk, and she speaks up again, "I don't fucking give a shit. She betrayed me, so if she wants to reconcile with me. She can come to me. I don't want you to mention that bitch when I'm around."
I think it's a sour topic for her. We'll talk later on the walk since it will be around four days. "Sorry for bringing up the topic, Lu. It won't happen again." I say before it's complete silence in the walk.
