Nicholas was silent for a moment when he opened his eyes and was already in the vast desert. The same desert he had seen when he felt an excruciating pain in his chest.
"Where are we?" Emily asked in confusion while looking at the area around her. Emily's panicked expression certainly couldn't be hidden from her face, because right now she was panicking.
"I think I made it to the place where I saw an omen before. A sign that led me to this place!" Nicholas replied while squinting his eyes and looking around him, trying to find the whereabouts of the male figure he saw in the vision.
While Emily was walking slowly up the desert that was currently in front of her, she felt that something was happening behind the desert towering in front of her.
"Emily where are you going?" Nicholas called Emily and asked her when he saw Emily walk away from him and walk up the desert that was in front of him.
