At the Smith's Villa
7:30 a.m.
Ethan was speechless at his grandfather's stubbornness but before he could say anything Lucas already dialed his friend's number.
And soon enough the call got answered , and an energetic voice of William came from the phone," Hello, Lucas, good morning what's up ? You called me this early ? Is everything fine ?,".
Lucas smiled and put the phone on speaker so that Ethan could also hear what they were talking , he replied to his friend," Yeah Good morning , Nothing is wrong Will , what are you doing ?,".
William said from the other side," Nothing , just jogging with Leo and Robin, they all think I'm old but look at them now , already tired after 10 rounds ".
Jim chuckled when he heard William's words he can imagine his friend Robin's face after getting torched by William.
Lucas also laughed and said," Stop it Will, they are right you are getting old , by the way I want to ask a favor from you,".
William sneered at his words and said," Shut up Lucas, I'm not old , but maybe you are, and yes tell me what favor do you need ?,".
Lucas ignored his friend's lecture and came straight to the point," Is Edith home ?,".
William replied," Yes, but that brat is still sleeping ,".
Lucas smiled and said,'' Oh great then, actually Ethan wants to talk to her about Racheal's health and Surgery , but when he tried to set a meeting with her at the hospital her assistant said that she is on a leave today and won't be meeting anyone, so can she meet him at your house ? I'm sure this would not take much time ?,".
William replied in a surprised tone," Leave ? I don't know about that , but don't worry just send Ethan here , I will tell her to meet him , she won't refuse when it comes to her patients and family and Racheal is both, but tell him to come by 9 because she is still sleeping , she was very exhausted yesterday because of surgeries".
Lucas smiled at this response and said in a helpless tone," Hm, poor child, she just came here a week ago and has to do so much work,".
Willian chuckled and said," Yeah, but she loves this pressure , when she was in states she had Flex with her who used to help and take care of her in the hospital but here she is all alone, I just wish he would also return soon, by the way don't forget about the dinner tonight and come with everyone including James and Alice, and Ace , Edith will be overjoyed if you bring Ace together,".
Lucas smiled and said," Yeah Yeah , I talked with Stefan a few days ago and he told me that Flex is also coming back with Mike and Cassie from the states and will be living here permanently, and I do remember about the dinner and I promise to bring Ace together,".
William replied in a confused tone," Huh ? Is that so? Flex is also coming back ? Ugh ! Edith , this brat never tells me anything, I will teach her a lesson today, by the way we will talk later at dinner , byeee,". with that he hung up.
Lucas chuckled at his friend's words and looked at Ethan and everyone and saw them staring at him , he cleared his throat and said," Look I did my job , you can meet Edith at her house after 9,".
Ethan looked at him silently because he was still confused by his sudden weird behavior and he thought to himself," Grandpa, what are you thinking now ?,". But he didn't say it out loud , and just nodded his head.
He looked at Lana , Alice and James and said," You all will accompany me when I will be going to visit Dr. Wood and then after that we can go and meet Grandma, and no excuse , I know you all are free,". He said that because he didn't know why his family was behaving like this and he didn't want any risk .
After that he stood up and looked at his kids and said," It's 7:45 and your school starts at 8:30 so I'm going for a walk with Ace and will pick you at 8:15 and drop you at school," then he look at James , Lana and Alice and said," You too , so don't get late,".
After that he moved towards the gate while calling Ace , he said," Come Ace," and as expected Ace stood up and ran towards him and like this they both left the Dining table.
Just as he left, Alice , who was sitting silently, said in a frustrated tone," Why the hell is he so bossy ?I have to attend a press conference today, at 5 ".
James said in a Calm tone," You can just leave early after meeting Grandma, it's not like that we have to stay for a whole day with Wood's, and Grandfather William always loved you,".
Alice relaxed at his words and said," Hmm , Ok.,".
James looked at other members and asked," Now he is gone , tell me what's going on ? why are you all behaving so strangely,".
Lana looked at both the kids and said to them," Twinnies , go and play for sometime ,". She used to call them like this because they both were twins.
Louis and Maria looked at each other before nodding their heads and leaving the dining area.
James looked at everyone and lifted his one eyebrow while drinking his juice as if asking what was going on.
Alice leaned in her chair while saying just two words," Arrange marriage,".
*P**f*, Cough Cough ,..
James, who was drinking his juice, spat it out in shock and started to choke. He calmed down a little and said with wide eyes ," What ? Whose wedding ? Ethan ? With whom?,".
Lana chuckled at this reaction and said," Edith Wood,".
James suddenly stood up and exclaimed in surprise," That hottie Doc, seriously ,".
"Hottie Doc ?" Exclaimed Lana, Alice , Lucas , Jim and Joyce.
Alice said with raised brows," James , seriously Hottie doc,".
Lana laughed and said ," Nice name,".
James looked at the elders, and saw them glaring at him so he hurriedly said,"Sorry , Sorry my mistake but why ? How ? when?.
Grandpa Lucas told him to sit down and then explained everything to him.

At Wood's Villa.
8:00 a.m.
After talking with Lucas , Grandpa William , Robin , Suzie and Leo were sitting in the living room talking about the Tonight gathering and the announcement they were about to make.
Leo said in a worried tone," Old man, are you sure about this ? you know Ed will never agree to this sudden marriage proposal, you didn't even ask her once, she just came back a week ago after so many years , what if she decided to go back ? what if she got triggered ?, you know she hates the word marriage ?,".
Suzie supported her son and said," What Leo is saying is right father , aren't we going too fast ? What if she regrets coming back ?, I don't wanna lose my baby for the second time , she has already experienced depression before, I don't want her to get upset again and because of us no way, I think we should talk to her first,".
Robin and Grandpa William looked at each other with complicated expression and Robin said," I think father is right Suzie , Edith has to move on , she has to come out from her safe shell, and for that she needs a little push which we are giving her , we have to be hard , so whatever happened don't back out,".
Leo said in a frustrated tone ," Fine, do whatever you all want to but this time I will not tolerate if she cries even for once , I don't want my sister to get hurt or go away from us," after that he stood up and walked out towards the garden.
Grandpa William smiled at his words and said to his son and daughter-in-law ," He just threatened me but I like that at least he loves her and you Suzie don't worry you will not regret this ,". After that he also walked towards his room. Suzie and Robin looked at each other and Robin assured her and they both got busy with their work.

At the Smiths
8:15 a.m.
Ethan return from his walk with Ace and saw his kids, James , Lana and Alice were already ready and was waiting from him so he also just set his hairs quickly and picked his car keys and said," lets go, Alice take Lana with you in another car and go directly at the Wood's and I andJames will come after dropping kids,".
Alice nodded and said ," Ok then we will leave in 30min until then I will complete some of my work,".
Ethan nodded and said," As your wish , just be on time, let's go kids,". After that he leaves with kids and James.
He dropped his kids at the school and then drove towards the Wood's Villa which was 30 mins drive from the school.
After 30 mins..
Outside Wood's Villa.
Two cars stopped at the main door of the Wood's Villa and guards asked them the reason for the visit then told them to wait for a second and called Butler Lu to ask whether to open the gate or not , when Butler Lu gave the permission he opened the door and the two cars entered the Villa premises.
Ethan , James , Lana and Alice came out from their cars and walked inside the Villa and saw Robin in business attire coming towards them with a big smile.
Lana looked at Robin and whispered jokingly to Alice," Sis, Isn't Uncle Robin so handsome , I swear I would have dated him if he was at the same age as mine,".
Alice chuckled and said," Don't worry he has a hot and handsome son and he is also in the army like you ,".
Lana grinned ear to ear and said," I know but I haven't seen him till now, he is in another base camp,".
Alice looked at the walking figure of Leo and said," So you have a chance now , look there he is,".
Lana looked at the direction from where Leo was coming and saw a handsome man coming towards them in this ripped black jeans and white shirt.
Lana exclaimed loudly , taking everyone off guard," Hottie ,". Leo stopped in tracks when he heard her and saw her staring at his body like a predator.
James, Ethan and Robin who were talking turned to look at Lana in surprise. Ethan shook his head at her stupidity while James, Robin and Alice laughed when they saw how embarrassed Leo and Lana were.
Lana's face turned red because of embarrassment, she was so excited that she forgot that others were also present there. She cursed when saw Leo looking at her with a weird expression.
After some time everyone was presented at the dining table only leaving Edith who was still sleeping soundly.
Grandpa William looked at the empty chair on his right side and then Leo who was sitting on his right and asked," Where is Edith ?Why is she not here yet ? I told you to wake her up?,".
Leo said,'' I tried to but she said she would wake up in 5 mins but then she didn't so I left buddies in her room, I'm sure she will be here in a few mins,". After saying this he gave a smug smile.
Grandpa William said ,'' She will kill you , but still you did well,". Then he looked at Ethan , James , Lana and Alice and was about to say something when a loud voice interrupted him.
" Leo Wood, you Idiot , why did you disturb my sleep? I will kill you," said Edith loudly.
Everyone at the dining table looked towards the stairs from where this voice came. They all saw Edith standing there lazily while glaring at Leo in her silk purple shorts and matching silk shirt whose 2 buttons were open , messy hairs and a puppy , yes a cute chubby puppy in her arms ,while two dogs were standing beside her one in left and one in right.
Ethan was shocked to see Edith here in Wood's Villa and on this state as he muttered slowly," Ms. Black Hoodie ," then he stared at her for few minutes without saying anything and then at her standing position , the scene of last night started to play in his head and then few words stuck in his head ' famous and beautiful ' now he get it why she referred herself as a famous person , of course she was famous , the famous doctor of U.K, London.
Lana , Alice and James was also staring at Edith , they have seen Edith in her interviews and on articles but this Edith was totally different from the person they had known, Dr. Edith Wood which they know was , well-maintained, Smart, punctual and the doctor with savage personality but this was totally different.
Edith was still glaring at Leo as she came down with 3 dogs one in her hands and two beside her , she was so busy glaring at Leo that she even noticed the presence of 4 guests who were constantly staring at her.
Grandpa William looked at his Granddaughter and said," You brat , Stop staring at him and pay attention to your surroundings , look we have some guests,".
Edith stopped at her tracks when she heard him and looked at him and then at the guests he was referring to, and boom she froze on her spot when she saw Ethan's face and how he was staring at her. Yeah , she remembers who he was, she definitely remembers everything that happened last night, Edith was definitely not a high tolerance drinker but that does not mean that she would forget about the things that happened when she was drunk , she always remembers each and everything.
Edith and Ethan came back to their senses when Lana excitedly walked towards Edith and looked at the puppy in her hand and asked," Aww, so cute , is this a chow-chow ? What are the names of these cuties? Are these dogs or bitch ? Oh god you have so many cute dogs Dr. Edith,".
Edith caught off guard when Lana suddenly came towards her and started to play with her puppy and started to ask too many questions so she took a step in reflex and smiled awkwardly while said," Uhh ? Sorry , you are ? ,".
Lana was so excited when see saw such cute dogs and specially the puppy that she forgot to introduce herself , she looked at Edith and said in embarrased tone," Oh sorry , I was so excited that I forget to introduce myself , My name is Lana Smith , Granddaughter of your patient Racheal Smith,".
Edith nodded and replied ," Oh ok , myself Dr. Edith Wood , nice to meet you Lana and about your questions yes it's a chow-chow puppy , it's a male dog and his name is Coco,". Edith introduced the the cute white puppy in her hands then she pointed at the light brown Dog who was standing on the right side and said," This is Oscar, it's a labrador Retriever and it's male dog, and this is Alfie ," she said while point at a furry brown dog who was standing at left , as she continued," It's a Golden Retriever, it's also a male dog,". After that she looked at other three members.
This time Alice came forward and said," Hello Dr. Wood , my self Alice Wilson,".
Edith nodded and said with a smile," Nice to meet you Alice , by the way I love your cosmetic and skincare products,".
Alice smiled at her words and said," Oh I'm glad that you like them,".
James also came forward and said," Hello Dr. Wood, myself James Wilson, you have such cute dogs,".
Edith smiled and said," Nice to meet you Mr. Wilson , and yeah they are very cute,".
Lana looked at Coco and asked Edith ," Can I carry him for once,".
Edith smiled and said,'' Sure , but please be careful he is still small ,".
James asked," How old is he ?".
Edith looked at Coco and said ," He is only a 47 days old puppy,".
Lana said," Damn he is small , I will be careful,". Edith nodded but just as she extended her hands towards Lana , Oscar jumped at her hands which made her lose hold of Coco and the small puppy slipped from her hands. Making Edith froze in her spot.
But Ethan who was observing her reacted quickly and caught Coco his arm carefully and looked at Edith, who was staring at him.
He rubbed Coco's head and said," Hello Coco," the puppy snuggled in his arms and barked.
Lana , Alice , James , Leo and everyone took a deep breath as a relief flashed in their eyes, Leo looked at his shocked sister and said," Coco is fine Ed,".
Edith's hands were shaking because of the shock; her eyes were literally filled with tears.
Ethan stood up from his seat when saw this and walked towards her and said slowly so that only Edith could hear him," He is safe , Ms. Black Hoodie, don't cry,".
Edith looked at him and calmed herself down and said," Thanks, Thanks again,".
Ethan smirked and said," We met again but this time I know your name Ms. Black Hoodie,".
Edith gave an embarrassed smile and said," Don't tell anything about yesterday to my family , they didn't know about me going there at midnight. Let's behave, we don't know each other by the way, what are you doing here?,".
After that she took Coco back while Ethan said a little loudly," Hello , Dr. Wood , myself Ethan Smith,".
