She held a lofty status among the human race, and on the fifteenth of March, her holy birthday, the people would burn incense and decorate with colorful streamers, offering worship at her grand temple of considerable scale.
Steps of white jade led up to the temple, enveloped in auspicious light, while golden boys and jade maidens held the Ruyi Jade Hook by the entrance; inside, silver candles glistened brightly, the golden censer spread auspicious mist, and the scent of burning incenses pervaded strongly.
A demon wind blew through, causing the golden boys, jade maidens, and guards guarding the temple to yawn and fall into a deep slumber. Daji quickly stepped into the temple, burned incense, and bowed devoutly to pay respects to the goddess.
