Nine Continents World is a fairly considerate game. It only had a three-day internal testing period and then went into a public beta for fifteen days. Unlike certain games that need a third or fourth public testing phase, they didn't procrastinate starting service.
After the Ling Family Brothers logged out, they didn't come back to Feather Gate, and Lu Bei didn't continue looking for other players to join the game.
There was no need for that anymore.
The next day, an official forum released a sticky post containing a three-minute video featuring highlights from the internal testing phase.
Apart from a few footages of landscapes and cultural aspects, most of the video was dedicated to Novice Villages scattered across Nine Continents World.
Players spawn in these villages and choose their main professions based on their preferences. It's not too difficult to find nearby sects for cultivation unless they make ridiculously wrong choices.
