For a while neither of them said anything, they just walked in silence. It was possible as well since the Delvey compound was just that, a compound. The house could be compared to a castle but there was nothing traditional about the designs. It was very modern and chic. But one thing it did have in common with a castle was that they both made one think of one word when you would look at it. Majestic.
The outside was just as big though, perhaps even bigger. Charis thought it was too much when she first arrived and she still thought the same except she had been living there for almost four months now, so she was getting used to it.
The house was always busy, with people trooping in and out. She had the impression that it was due to the funeral but it had been months and while most of the extended family had taken their leave, there were still many people.
