After Charis talked with her mother, she went to Miss Parker's house to give her, her groceries and came back home to get her things. She had been waiting for motivation, a sign, anything basically and now she got it. She would go the opposite direction as far away from her sister as she could get and let everyone that chased Charity come after her. That was the least she should do at the end of the day.
Her mother waited patiently for her daughter to come back down, passing to and fro the expanse of her spacious kitchen when she had a knock on the door. Marina headed to the door and pulled it open, meeting gazes with a handsome stranger.
