"I am sorry to have invaded your privacy and never intended to taint you Milady." He said with his head still down.
"It's alright, I really appreciate that you saved me, you know." He raised his head but did not smile. His hair was black and kept in a bun at the back of his head, strands fell forward. They were straight but a few stuck to the sweat on his forehead. His eyes were also dark and clouded. "I don't know where I am or what year it is. Could you tell me?"
"You have lost your memory?"
"Yes."
"It is the Edo period, we are nearby Fushimi, Kyoto." She blinked in confusion. The reality that she could touch, feel, see, hear and taste this dream had begun to settle in which is when she recalled the whirlpool and the lightning strike. "What?"
