Mikaela runs back to her apartment. She rethinks her choices and questions herself. Is she the bad guy? She she as evil as those who torture, rape and kill people for their own sake? No, she kills them to get revenge on those who do bad things to people. Those who rape young children for money. Those who torture them to get what they want. They are the bad people they don't deserve to survive. But, is it right to kill them? Mikaela is spiralling with questions. She starts to walk to see the scenery. All she sees are people living in fear. Living with a corrupt government that has no regard for their people. The people live like hooligans. They don't care if they commit a crime. They don't care if they hurt people. The only thing they care about is their power.
"Am I wrong? Am I the bad guy?" Mikaela said to herself. She looks down in disbelief. She stops walking and sees a reflection of herself. All she can see is a troubled little girl that doesn't know what her purpose in life is. What she can do to survive and if she belongs to the good side. Or the bad side. Maybe she's in between. Maybe… "Noo.. There's no such thing as in between" Mikaela said to herself again. She sighs in disbelief.
"So what i'm doing, to help Rachel get back to her world where she belongs. Is it wrong?" Mikaela says.
"No you're not" Nathan said behind Mikalea's ear. Mikaela looked behind and saw Nathan running towards her.
"What you've been doing, all of this. You have protected Mekolan." Nathan says. Mikaela looked at him and still doesn't believe anything he said.
"But you saw how worried and scared the little girl was. SHE THOUGHT I WAS A MONSTER! SO DID RACHEL!" Mikaela screamed. She stuttered on her words. Her eyes start to welled up in grief. "What you did may be crazy. But you saved her." Nathan said. He touches her cheeks with his hand and wipes away the tears.
"You have protected your friends here. What you have done. May not be the best solution. But you have good intentions Mikaela. You just think that this is the only way." Nathan said looking over at the disheartened Mikaela. Mikaela thought of what Nathan said. Maybe he is right? Maybe this was the only way to survive and save the people! But why was Rachel so frightened? Mikaela still had this negative feeling that she is a monster.
"I know I may not have convinced you well enough but let me tell you something. When I first met you . You were not only a skilled fighter. You were just a little kid that lost her family at a very young age. Had trust issues but had no choice but to trust one. You trained, hard, to protect families from the same fate as yours. You protected them from disgusting people that no one would ever forgive. You are Mekolan's saviour, you are the only person who can protect the people of Mekolan. Despite your non-suggested tectic, you did it for the good of the people. You save them even though they may fear you. But they will remember you as a girl who saved them from men. With a killing persona." Nathan said to Mikalea. Mikaela thought of what Nathan said.
Maybe he is right. Maybe she should change her way of saving them. Maybe she should stop killing people but prevent them from committing crimes she thinks they are. Maybe she should do what Rachel did.
"Maybe you're right Nathan. Maybe I should try to find another way of handling the situation." Mikaela said to Nathan. He nodded. Mikaela added, "After we get Rachel out of here"
Nathan laughed. He expected this to happen and said, " Of course. I knew you were gonna say that". Mikaela laughed. The time to save Rachel is tomorrow. They have to get ready before there is no time to save Rachel. They walked back to Mikaela's apartment as soon as they realised the sun was setting.
"Are you sure Mikaela would be of use to us?" An unknown guy said. The hooded man looked at their hologram and said, "I'm sure she will be of use to us. If we get someone out of the equation."
