[This is just a mini story as an apology for missing the upload last week, a little alternate reality story revolving around how Ophis and Kazu would meet in different worlds. I may do these every once in a while whenever I feel like. I'll make sure to post a chapter tomorrow. Anyways, good bye.]
The mansion was dark and dreary, accompanied by depressing red lighting, with the darkness also hiding the identity of everyone there. Everyone from everywhere came here for their illegal needs, drugs, weapons, explosives, information, slaves, human trafficking, you could find all of it at this place. And currently, one of the most influential people in the entire world came to buy a slave, a man by the name of Kazu Taura.
"This would be the final girl we have currently, I hope she is to your taste." A man clad in a suit said, bowing to Kazu and presenting him a beautiful mature woman, with her wrists and ankles chained up. "Stand up." Kazu said, his deep voice seemingly waking up the girl. She stood up and approached Kazu, standing just far enough away so she wouldn't touch him, but not far enough to where he couldn't see her in detail. "Good, seems you're used to this, now I won't waste my breath ordering you. Now, tell me about yourself."
She stared him in the eyes, both of their eyes met, the cold, dead eyes staring at each other. "My name is Ophis, I am 16, I am good at general maid work and following orders, I am still a virgin." She said in her monotone, cold voice, barely loud enough for Kazu to hear.
"I see…. I'll buy her, here take this." Kazu then threw a briefcase at the suited man, briefly stunning him. "It has about 40k, which should be enough for her." The man just nodded his head and gave Kazu a key. "This is for her chains, you can keep the chain, consider it a bonus."
Kazu led the girl out of the mansion, slowly reaching the car he drove here. He put her in the passenger seat and got into the car, driving off to the girl's new life.
It was the year 1981 when Kazu bought this girl, assassination rates were at an all time high, but that same year, they would also drop to a new time low, all because of one reason. Wraith, the world's deadliest and most mysterious assassin had retired, leaving his life of crime to live with his new maid in solitude… And 6 years later, we come across a pair walking silently in a garden, with a big mansion looming over them.
One of them finally spoke up while reading off a clipboard. "Master, today you have some business meetings with the shareholders, and after that you have one more meeting with the Morends, with what I can only guess to be a marriage proposal, after all their daughter just turned 18."
"I see, thank you Ophis. The shareholders will be a bit of a pain, but the Morends will be quite fast and easy to deal with."
"Oh? Why would that be, master?" The maid asks. "Simple, I have no interest in those follies. Marriage? Waste of my time, especially if it's with a random, barely legal teenager who hasn't even had their first taste of alcohol yet. Seriously, those Morends.." The maid chuckled a bit and looked at her watch. "Sorry to interrupt your ranting master, but I believe it's about time for breakfast no? We should go inside anyways, it looks like it's about to rain."
Kazu looked at the sky and smiled. "Indeed, it does look like it's about to rain… Ophis, how about I cook breakfast today?"
"What? B-but master, what kind of maid would I be if I let you cook for me?"
"Come on, I feel like you deserve a reward after all these years, so why don't I make us a good breakfast?"

"Ah, Mr. and Mrs. Morend, come on in, oh, and who is this?" Kazu said, staring down a family of blonde haired people at his front door, behind the 2 at the front there was a girl in the back, shyly hiding behind her father's back. "Oh her? This is our daughter, Elysia, sadly she is quite a shy girl."
Kazu chuckled a bit and approached the girl. "It is okay to be shy, but there is no need to be scared of me." Kazu then bent down and kissed her hand, before turning around and heading into the mansion. "Now, follow me if you would."
They walked into the mansion, staring in awe at the sheer size and beauty of the place, the dirt-less walls, and a floor so clear you could see your reflections. "My gods, how many maids do you have to keep this place so spotless? It is absolutely stunning."
"That's the thing, I only have one. She has been by my side for over 6 years at this point, I always tell her that she doesn't have to clean everything this well but oh well, I can't say it isn't a good thing."
"Well, she must be one hell of a maid to clean this place all by herself."
"Oh she is simply amazing at her job." Kazu then walks through the big archway into the living room. "Well speak of the devil, Ophis. Get us some drinks would you? Oh, and bring my favorite."
"Will do master." She bows, and walks out of the room.
"Oh my, not only is she polite, but she also is stunning. You must've been blessed to get such a nice maid." Mrs. Morend said, commenting on Ophis. "Indeed, I don't know what I would do without her."
Kazu sat down on the couch and coughed, getting the Morends attention. "Alright then, shall we just get to the point? What is your reason for coming here today?"
"Well as you can probably guess, we wish to offer a marriage proposal between you and Elysia here. As far as I know, you are single, and I promise that Elysia would be an amazing wife." Mr. Morend said, taking a sip of the wine Ophis brought back. "Yes, I'm sure Elysia would be a fantastic wife, but there is a problem with that. Mr. Morend… I am not interested in marriage nor love."
"What?" Mr. Morend said with a bit of confusion on his face. "You see, I'm sure the marriage would be an amazing thing for you guys, giving your daughter a husband that can be trusted and vast amounts of wealth. But I do not wish to marry anybody, because I feel that a marriage without love can only end bad for both parties. I am sorry Miss Elysia, even if you did like me, which I doubt you do, I wouldn't love you back, and I would not want you to suffer because of me."
Elysia just looked at Kazu and smiled a bit. "You are fine, Mr. Taura." The Morends just looked at their daughter and sighed, before looking back at Kazu. "She's right, it's fine if you don't want to marry our daughter. I hope we can still be business partners though." The Morends then looked at the clock on the wall behind Kazu and stood up.
"It seems we overstayed our welcome. Thank you for the wine, and thank you for inviting us into your home. We shall make our way out by our self." The Morends then slowly made their way out, making sure to do one last bow before leaving the house.
Kazu got up and went to the kitchen looking for Ophis, realizing she was not there, he knew where she had gone. He went up to his bedroom, slowly creaking open the door and walking inside, greeted by Ophis sitting on his bed, playing with a box.
"It seems that the meeting is over, I would ask you the outcome, but I can already guess it." Ophis got up and walked behind Kazu, holding the box in front of Kazu. "I can even guess what you said, 'I am not interested in a marriage without love', or something close to that, right?"
The box read, {Morning after pills}
"Ophis…"
"What is it?"
"You know why I said that right?"
"Of course I know, Kazu~. It's been what, 4 years? Ever since then, neither of us could live without each other. Though it is quite funny, how a slave managed to enslave her master in a cycle of lust and love."
"You're right, I can't live without you. I've tried relationships with other women, but no matter what, they all feel meaningless to you. You filled the void, but every time I go away, the void gets bigger." Kazu grabbed Ophis and walked over to the bed, putting them both on the bed, with Kazu looming over Ophis' mature body. A body that has grown so much more since the first day he bought her.
"You have always had a habit of stretching out what you really want to say with long convoluted phrases. Scrap the big words and say it."
"Ophis…. I love you."
Ophis just chuckles and pulls Kazu down, making their noses touch together. "I know. I've known ever since the incident four years ago. Ever since I snuck into your room that night. Ever since the day I enslaved you, ever since you became a slave to me and my body. You poor man, you can't live without me anymore, a simple maid. Though I guess I'm not a simple maid anymore, now, don't be gentle. I don't want to be able to walk tomorrow."
