Chapter 4 - Chapter 3: Moving to Elburgh 2

His remaining days in the castle passed by in a flash. The next morning came and it was the day that he's finaally leaving Gundelloire castle. It is where he grew up with— not as a child, but as a prince. Something that he's not proud of, because the responsibility of a so-called prince greatly robbed his entire childhood.

Luka could hear his heart beating rapildy as the carriage began to move.

For the last time, he took a glimps of the entire Gundelloire castle from the windows. Although he indeed hated this place, there are still things that he still once loved.

The carriage passed by one of Gundelloire's fountain. Swan fountain could be directly seen from the balcony of Luka's room, and he always finds himself in the said fountain everytime he wanted to escape his royal responsibilities. When he was younger, he used to play with Damien in the same place every summer. It became Luka's favourite spot not long after.

Now that he's leaving the castle, he will still keep the memories he had with the people he treasured the most. Speaking of Damien, before the carriage passed the main gate of the castle, he caught his brother's eyes looking proud of him. Damien took off his hat, placed it in his chest and bowed at him.

Everything went so fast. The next thing Luka knew, he ready exited the castle. He also did the gesture his brother had done earlier though that put a smile to his face. It is a simple manly gesture of their kingdom that Gundelloire is commonly known for. It is like telling each other "goodluck" or anything that's optimistic for one's journey.

Luka and Damien have better plans for each other rather than staying in the castle for the rest of their lives. Getting the treasures in Elburgh palace is just the tool for their dreams. Aside from Luka and Damien's personal interest for the said treasure, they're still reminded of their very main goal.

That is, completely taking over Gundelloire.

And annihilating their brothers.
