Oliver brushed his fingertips against the top of the small box he held in his hand. It felt weird to him, to hold this kind of box in his hands. It wasn't a box he'd ever thing that he'd buy.
He exhaled and flipped the small box open. The small diamond at the top of the silver ring glimmered in the light. He ran his fingers over the smooth silver surface of the small ring and swallowed hard.
The box felt as light as a feather, but the responsibility of it weighed heavily on his like bricks crushing his shoulders. Oliver knew he was making the right decison. He had mulled over the decision a thousand times, so much that he lost count. But whenever he saw the little box, his resolve faltered a little, making him rethink his decision again.
