Perhaps did he say those words to comfort her? Eve couldn't tell. His words sounded malicious and make her feel even worse. Her body couldn't stop trembling from the fear of what was to come. Eve looked around and saw all the adults staring at her. Their eyes all looked blank and dead. Eve knew that they had watched each of the teenagers die. How could they not feel anything when they stood there and watched each of them die.
Eve moved her eyes to her father. His hands were folded and his stared at her dead in the eyes. Eve no longer felt sad when she saw her father treat her like she wasn't even related to him. What she felt was pure hatred and detest for the man she called her father. Eve gritted her teeth as she stared at her father. The hate she had suppress, the hate she had denied had flared up and engulfed her completely.
