The cement floor got colder and colder as Daisy lay on it. No matter how much she tried to break free from the ropes, they didn't budge. She resigned herself from trying to break free and lay still on the floor. The room was small and empty. The yellow light bulb hanging from the ceiling flickered once in a while. The room had no windows and no furniture except for a small wooden chair, which was placed at the corner of the room.
Daisy's heart was racing. She didn't know what to expect. The fact that she had been kidnapped and taking to a strange place had not registered in her head. Everything happened so fast.
"Evan probably thinks I bailed on him. Now he has to do the night patrol himself." She muttered.
'I'm so sorry Evan.' Daisy thought as she closed her eyes.
