" I think that was when I picked up the habit of smoking." Daisy concluded as she opened her eyes.
The montage was done, and it left her feeling empty. The feelings she had thrown away had come back. The nostalgic sadness began to hit her once again. Evan looked at Daisy wistfully and turned his eyes to the lake.
"What happened after that?"
"I found out that he only dated me because he made a bet with his jock roomies that he'd be able to get between my legs, and he did." Daisy replied blankly.
Evan could hear the regret in her voice. Her face also showed it. He couldn't begin to imagine how it must've been for her. Considering how weak hearted Evan was, he knew he wouldn't be able bear the pain she felt. It made him admire how emotionally strong she was.
"But why didn't you confront him about it? I think that's something anyone would do."
Daisy let out a sigh and placed her hands on the grass, stretching her legs forward.
