The sun started to disappear on the western horizon and peeked at the end of the equator, illuminating the darkening part of the Northendell sky. Arielle had put on the thickest coat she had, and Ronan did the same.
"Are you sure you will return to the palace with just the two of you? Don't you need extra guards? William can go with you. Kael and I will accompany Princess Irene for sailing tomorrow morning."
Ronan helped Arielle to get on her horse.
"There's nothing for you to worry about. I will protect my wife well. Besides, I don't want to ruin your vacation. Enjoy it while you can because maybe this will be your last vacation before returning to the capital," Ronan said, making Arielle laugh.
