Amadea and I looked at each other. We were also both confused about the information that was said I was pregnant. I tried asking Mera who had turned into a dragon and his wife was riding on his back. However, Mera just clicked his tongue in annoyance and said why I still questioned it. Then, he rushed to leave the place because he couldn't stand Amadea's stench.
Though, the last sentence wasn't true. Mera was just exaggerating.
After Mera and his wife said goodbye to me, I was left alone with Amadea. The man still looked surprised. I let him sit for a moment and waited for the man to say something.
However, even after several minutes passed, Amadea hadn't uttered a single word, and when I looked at him, he was still in the same position with the same shocked expression as before.
I took a deep breath and grabbed the vegetable basket to approach him.
"I think Mera and his wife said the wrong thing," I said to break the awkward atmosphere between us.
