Instantly, Ronan's room turned quiet.
"Aren't you lonely in this quiet room?" Arielle asked.
Ronan shook his head and wrapped his arms around the girl's waist to draw her closer to him. "I feel more lonely if you don't hug me now."
Arielle gave what the man asked for. A tight hug from the girl made him smile. She had covered her face with a mask cloth again. As their skin touched, Arielle could feel Ronan's body temperature slowly rising again.
They hugged each other for a long time, Arielle felt Ronan starting to sweat.
"Are you okay? Do you want me to call a priest to lower your temperature again?"
Ronan shook his head. "Hmm. I'm fine. Your body… it's refreshing."
"Is that true? You don't feel hot? Your body is sweating."
Ronan shook his head once more. "Not. I'm telling the truth."
Arielle patted his shoulder gently. "Then, go to sleep. I will stay beside you."
"Hm-hm. I'm trying."
