When Arielle wanted to go after the child, Ronan immediately stopped her.
"Arielle, you can leave him alone. The boy doesn't seem to want to be disturbed. We have to get back to the palace before nightfall because it's getting colder."
"And leave the boy alone, out in the cold?" Arielle shook her head disapprovingly. She let go of Ronan's hand from her arm and ran after the boy who couldn't walk fast because his legs hurt.
"Hey, I didn't want to make you uncomfortable. It's going to be very cold out here. You want to find a warm place to rest?"
Arielle's hand was thrown away by the child. Ronan, who saw that, growled unapprovingly. William immediately approached the king and restrained the man from venting his frustration on a small child who did not know better.
Arielle stopped right in front of the boy and held both of his shoulders tightly.
