Ronan always had his own fear. He had also made up his mind to forget everything and lead a new life, but why did it feel so difficult? His breath caught. Was he jealous of Irene or his father?
Ronan's mind continued to be enveloped by many questions that burdened him until he didn't feel that his feet were already standing in front of Arielle's library door. He then opened the door without knocking first.
Seeing Arielle looking up from the pile of papers and giving him a wide and gentle smile made his head lighten up again. All the fog and burden he felt before had faded away.
"Ah, I forgot I still have her," Ronan muttered with a light chuckle.
How could someone be so bright? Ronan thought as he saw the sight of his wife shining brightly only with the gray light from the window as well as the fire from the fireplace. Ronan felt like looking directly at the sun.
Ronan stepped closer and hugged his wife tightly.
