"We're going to see the sea!?" Irene asked enthusiastically.
"Of course. Didn't your brother promise you? Why do you sound so shocked?"
Irene glanced left and right then she sat beside Arielle shyly. "Well, it was because I had the academy admission test, so I thought the king had canceled our trip. And now I also failed to pass the test, so there was no reason to do it again."
Arielle smiled faintly. She pulled Irene's back to sleep on her lap again.
"A promise is a promise. Your brother is not that kind of person. He has promised to take us to see the sea so he will fulfill it unconditionally. Your brother is a good person, Irene."
Irene closed her eyes again when the cold towel was placed on her eyes.
"I know," she replied with a beam.
