Lazarus had weird thoughts sometimes, but it still made Arielle chuckle. She then apologized to Kael for not wanting to offend the man.
"Sorry, Lord Kael. I didn't mean to laugh at you, but what Lazarus said earlier made me laugh."
"It's all right, Your Highness. I see. Sometimes a person just needs one hit to correct the position of his brain," said Kael, glancing at Lazarus sharply, while Lazarus ignored Kael's threat and laughed along at his own joke just now.
William and Lucas laughed too. Priest Elis smiled faintly, so did Tania. Only Aimee, Kael, Irene, and Ronan didn't laugh at all because they didn't find the humor in Lazarus' joke funny.
"Then, is there something you like? Maybe I can provide a room to your liking, Princess Irene," Lucas said.
"My liking?" Irene turned to Arielle, asking for help. She didn't know what she wanted. She was used to accepting whatever was given to her. Even if it was leftovers, Irene didn't mind at all.
