Ronan touched the girl's cheek with his index finger.
"You are very beautiful. I think I fell in love with you again," Ronan said, making Arielle smile.
The girl lifted her body slightly. Her face was flushed because of Ronan's praise just now.
"Ronan, isn't now the time to have a celebration?" Arielle asked, making the man frown again.
Arielle touched the wound on Ronan's face that wasn't healed even by the elixir from the unicorn clan. She kissed him briefly and caressed her husband's face again.
"You are not bound by Amadea's curse anymore. Don't you want to take off your mask?"
Ronan didn't use his mask because Arielle pulled him hurriedly. The rule not to look at the king's face still applied except for those closest to him. Besides, the palace guards, as well as the maids and servants all always looked down when they found the king leaving his room without wearing a mask.
"I'm… not sure," Ronan replied in a whisper.
