Otis pulled Arielle's body and gestured for the girl to sit on a dusty chair. Otis sat in front of her. After calming down, he lifted his cloak slightly so that Arielle could see the same tattoo on his ankle.
"Arielle, the creatures in Birwick are different from humans. They have a unique power that humans don't have. This is the seal of agreement that Maxieno has attached to me since I was a baby. I will be a servant of the dragon clan until the end of my life. That's why I once said that I'm tied to Birwick Mountain. I can't leave this place because no matter how far I go the dragon clan will keep looking for me and drag me back to this place."
