Again, Ronan could only look down in shame.
"Thank you for listening to me so well. So how? Is there anything you want to talk about?"
Ronan averted his gaze. What Arielle said was indeed true. Never had Ronan felt like he was being lectured. All this time, Ronan did whatever he pleased.
Arielle's patience reminded her of Priest Louise's patience, who taught him many things for the first time. Ever since he rose to throne and became a king, Priest Louise stopped lecturing him. Ronan also felt that what he did was the truth.
That was right, Lazarus didn't deserve to be hit. He should be the one getting hit for breaking his promise to Arielle. He even left the palace without telling her first.
