Ronan glared at Lazarus, making the man scratch his head uncomfortably.
"Sorry, I was just trying to guess. Maybe I should go to the library, like Lucas said. Well, see you later!" Lazarus said, then went out of the room.
Lazarus was really unpredictable. He was like a storm that came and went so fast.
"Does Lazarus know where I am hiding?" Arielle asked worriedly.
Ronan looked down to see Arielle, who sat between his legs. He held the back of Arielle's head so as not to hit the desk when the girl came out of her hiding.
"No need to worry. Lazarus isn't that smart."
Arielle got up from where she hid, then fixed some parts of her wrinkled dress. In a split second, Ronan fantasized about the girl, but Arielle had warned him this morning.
"Arielle, when will you keep your promise?"
"Promise? Ah, the one this morning…"
"I can't wait to see it."
"Later ... after we get married," Arielle replied quietly, making Ronan groan.
