Lazarus was sitting with Lucas on one of the Colosseum benches, looking at Arielle, who was being chased by such a tame wolf. He cupped his head with his hands that rested on his knees. His mouth was slightly open with eyes narrowed sharply when it was Arielle's turn to chase the wolf around the field.
Lazarus had vacated the Colosseum grounds so that no one would see a certain king turning into a tame pet dog. There was jealousy that burned his heart. Lazarus gritted his teeth, feeling the injustice that Ronan was showing.
He was jealous. Jealous because Ronan never asked him to play chase!
Lazarus was so envious that he almost screamed in frustration. Ronan and he had been friends since they were children. He was one of those people who always cheered him on as Ronan learned to control his wolf side.
