Ronan threw Lazarus away. Lucas bowed his head in respect of the king's presence.
"Where is Arielle?" Ronan asked impatiently.
"The princess is studying in the library," Lucas replied.
Without waiting any longer, Ronan walked briskly towards the library. The guard saw the king was walking quickly toward him and immediately opened the library door.
Ronan looked around and found three students who were surprised by the presence of the king. Likewise, the librarian who was sitting behind the front desk. Ronan signaled them all to get out. After everyone got out, he scanned the first floor again and didn't find Arielle there.
The man slowly walked up the stairs. His smile bloomed when he saw Arielle sitting with her back to him while placing a book on her lap. He came closer and removed the cloth covering his face. The girl looked so focused that she didn't hear Ronan's footsteps hitting the floor.
