"What about you?" Arielle decided to ask back.
"Me? Hm... tough question."
Arielle laughed at Ronan, who was deep in thought. The man easily asked her how many children did she want, but when asked back, the man took a long time to think.
"I've always thought about never having a child," answered Ronan honestly.
Arielle was quite surprised by that answer.
A king who didn't want to have children? Then who would be his heir?
Arielle didn't really understand the lineage of the nobility, but if Ronan didn't have any children, then it would be his siblings or relatives' responsibility to continue. However, Arielle had never seen the man's family. So, she didn't know if he had any.
