Arielle's eyes bulged at that sudden question. Her lips parted slightly, she was very surprised by the king's words. She knew of the end of the story of the princess and the prince that Tania told her. It was how both of them ended up happily by being united in a marriage bond.
But she was just a princess without having the qualities of a real princess. Doubt entered her heart again. Arielle knew if she married Ronan, it meant she would become a queen.
What if Ronan was disappointed with her in the future because he finally realized she was not good enough for him? Or… what if Ronan regretted that his chosen queen was completely useless?
"I …."
Ronan could see Arielle's hesitation. Her pupils moved restlessly. The girl squeezed the blanket in front of her tightly, showing a sign of anxiety.
"Arielle, if you have any doubts. Can you share your doubts with me and tell me?" asked Ronan softly.
