Ronan watched Arielle, who was busy making the rabbits comfortable in his arms while he felt uncomfortable. The girl looked up with a radiant face making Ronan speechless. Instead of being annoyed, the man smiled broadly.
"You want to touch the stag, right? Go ahead, I can take care of the rabbits," said the man, feeling an inner conflict.
The stable boy grabbed the rope and offered to tie the deer first so as not to surprise the princess with its movement. The deer might suddenly become wild. Arielle refused because she didn't want to make the deer uncomfortable.
Arielle lifted her skirt a little, so as not to get smudged with the mud. She grabbed her coat and placed it on her lap. Arielle was now sitting parallel to the stag.
The stag just snorted, not bothered by Arielle's presence. Arielle could see her reflection in the deer's round eyes, which were staring at her intently.
