Kinan stopped her steps when she heard footsteps approaching, she reflexively hid. She then peeked because the footsteps had already passed her. Kinan's body immediately froze when she saw the vampire who had just passed her.

Unknowingly, Kinan stepped closer to the vampire because his face was very similar to Ucen. Her chest thumped wildly as her eyes involuntarily filled with tears. The longing she had hidden for so long seemed like she wanted to spill it on the vampire.
