Rex looked deeply at his mother, he knew she was hiding her sadness. Rex immediately hugged his mother, he didn't know what to say, he was not a man who could express something in words.
"Don't cry, you've grown," Tuscany chuckled as she heard a sob escape Rex's mouth. Tuscany wanted to wipe Rex's tears but Rex held him and hugged his mother tighter. Rex didn't want his mother to see him cry, he was too embarrassed to see his mother's face after what he did.
After hugging for a long time, Rex finally let go of the hug. He still didn't dare to look his mother in the eyes. Tuscany suppressed her smile and chose to look the other way because she didn't want Rex to be embarrassed if he found out his eyes were so red from crying.
"I heard you got a letter. Was it from Nesa?" Tuscany asked without turning to look at Rex.
"I don't know," Rex replied.
