Chapter 17 - Unrest (2)

Many diamond orders did not accept the news, they defended themselves by saying that the news was made by Ebony because he was jealous of the diamond order. The Onyx Order did not accept that their higher-ups were blamed and finally responded to the Diamond Order's words. They cursed each other, not a few of them began to issue their respective strengths.

"Your mouth is presumptuous to blame the higher-ups of Ebony," the short black-haired girl started to mumble a spell, she started to give off a terrifying aura.

The white-eyed girl in front of her did not want to lose, she counterattacked, she suppressed the power that was released by her opponent. Slowly his opponent's intimidating aura dimmed.

"Your leader's arrogant mouth for accusing our orders,"

The girl with white eyes raised her wand, she advanced towards her opponent, her opponent couldn't move, her anger slowly dissipated. But as soon as his opponent muttered an incantation, loud noises began to sound.

The chaos was instantly quiet when the voice appeared, they immediately covered their ears because they didn't want to be affected by its power. The girl with white hair chuckled, her strength turning against her. He mumbled something, siren singing started to sound.

Two voices started attacking each other, the students watching started holding their heads, the rumbling sound made their heads hurt.

"You know we can't attack each other Lopa," the black-haired girl chuckled.

"Right, since we can only rely on our magic power, but," Lopa prepared to attack.

"I can't just sit still,"

Lopa shot forward, he pointed his wand at Qery's body but Qery dodged it easily. Both of them were in an unstable state due to the thunderous sound. Qery can't maximize his strength because sometimes his attacking intent weakens. Likewise with Lopa, her body sometimes injures itself.

"What are you doing!"

Olaf shouted angrily, holding the two girls' wands. The voice immediately disappeared. The two girls gasped, they were surprised to see Olaf.

"You two shouldn't be attacking each other, you two are both magicians!"

Lopa and Qery lowered their heads, afraid to see Olaf angry, especially with the sinister aura around him.

"You guys shouldn't argue with each other just because of such baseless rumors!"

Olaf looked at the students sharply, he was really angry when he heard the report from the supervisor if there was a commotion in the student hall.

"Ebony himself said that if the diamond order committed a crime, where did the baseless rumors come from?"

One of the students answered. "Right, even Ebony said if he was the ringleader of the academy fire, does that make sense?"

"Right, that doesn't make sense."

"Ebony's top brass can't be wrong,"

The atmosphere became chaotic again, the two orders again argued with each other.

"SHUT UP! EBONY SAYS IT MAYBE FOR NO REASON,"

"And you onyx order, don't be easily provoked to make trouble with your own people,"

The students began to have difficulty breathing because of Olaf's frightening aura. Olaf noticed it, he tried to suppress his gripping aura.

"If I hear someone arguing again, I will not hesitate to punish him."

After saying that, Olaf went to the main hall, he had to immediately discuss this with the higher-ups because if he left it would cause even bigger trouble.

"Students were very noisy and some even attacked each other, but I managed to control it," Olaf reported to Vermilion.

"However, I don't know the atmosphere in the village, I believe it must be more chaotic than here and it will be more difficult to control it."

"You stupid Ebony," said Vermilion angrily. Her red hair shone brightly.

"I did tell him to investigate the diamond order but that doesn't mean he has to tell people,"

"Look what happened,"

Vermilion's hands clenched into fists, his hair became hard. He really wanted to punch Ebony in the face.

"Find Ebony, tell me I'm looking for it,"

"And also deploy guards to control the atmosphere outside, I don't want any blood to come out."

"Okay, Vermilion,"

Olaf immediately left to carry out Vermilion's orders. He himself was worried about the current state of affairs, especially since Ivory and Lagoon weren't around.

Braak!

There was a slam at the door, Vermilion glared angrily at Ebony who had just arrived.

"Look at the consequences of what you did!"

Ebony glared at Vermilion in annoyance, he was in a bad mood because of the villagers and he didn't want to argue with Vermilion now.

"I've done the investigation as you wish, and now you're angry?"

"You think I did that to lure the culprit out?"

"You doubt my abilities?"

Ebony vented his frustration on Vermilion. Vermilion sighed in frustration, he couldn't understand Ebony's thoughts.

"Even though you've done your research, you can't say that to people, especially to the diamond order!"

"After all I heard that you have no proof, you are really careless Ebony!"

"Do you have another way?" said Ebony sarcastically.

"I don't want the culprits to roam free and commit crimes again. I did that to make the order of diamonds and others be careful."

"You think so?" said Vermilion sarcastically.

"They won't believe you, they will protect each other instead."

Ebony fell silent at Vermilion's words. Vermilion ruffled his hair in annoyance.

"I don't know what to report to Ivory if he comes back."

"He must be very disappointed in you."

Ebony ignored Vermilion's words. He knew he was very reckless, but he wanted someone to back him up.

"What's with the commotion outside? Did you do something reckless Ebony?"

Shamrock came casually, he chuckled seeing Ebony.

"Shut up, that's also your suggestion, isn't it?" said Ebony sarcastically.

"I'm just agreeing to Vermilion's suggestion and I'm not telling you to tell people either,"

Ebony's hands clenched into fists, her breath rising and falling rapidly. He was really mad at Vermilion and Shamrock for blaming him for the advice they gave him.

"Never mind, we can't blame each other," Vermilion tried to lighten the mood.

"So do you know who did it?"

"Lokey, people call him that,"

Shamrock's face changed slightly when he heard Lokey's name but he tried to cover it up.

"Then do you have an inkling where he is now?" said Shamrock.

Ebony shook her head. "The hut was empty when I arrived, obviously someone helped him escape as no one saw him returning to the village,"

Vermilion looked thoughtful. "Could this have something to do with vampires again?"

"It's possible, we have to wait for Ivory and Lagoon to return," said Ebony.

"For now we have to get the situation under control," Vermilion said, which was followed by Ebony and Shamrock's nods.

"You must quickly find evidence if the culprit is indeed from the diamond order,"

"Just tell me if you need my help," said Shamrock looking at Ebony.

Ebon stared silently out the window, he thought about who might be helping Lokey. He had no other clue, he hit the wall in annoyance.

"Where are you going?" asked Vermilion seeing Shamrock walking out.

"My private room"

"At a critical time like this?"

"I have something to do,"

Shamrock rushed to his room, he was a little nervous because Ebony already knew the name of the culprit. He had to get rid of the evidence that he helped Lokey out of his cabin.

"Lokey,"

"What is it, sir?"

Lokey was surprised to see Shamrock's restless face.

"Ebony is telling people that the culprit of yesterday's fire was from the diamond order and it was you,"

Lokey's eyes widened in shock, his body shook, he looked at Shamrock in fear.

"What should I do, sir?"

"Nothing, you just need to hide. I'll finish this."

"Never leave this room if we both want to survive."

Shamrock squeezed Lokey's shoulder, he tried to convince Lokey. Lokey's breathing slowly regularized, he tried to calm himself.

Nesa POV on

I sat in a room that felt cold and dim, very different from my room in the wizarding world. It's very quiet here as if I'm far from people.

I looked out the window, it was very quiet, only a few vampires passing by with their mouths full of blood. I was actually afraid that a vampire would come into my room.

"Sally, I miss you,"

I chuckled, if Selly was here I'm sure she wouldn't be able to stand the silence, she'd be making a fuss. I looked up at the calming sky.

"Father, Mother, I miss you,"

I remember that I left without saying goodbye to my mother, and I don't know how my mother is now, she must be very sad about my loss.

"Father, what really happened? Who is Oxara? And why am I called a traitor?"

I stared sadly at the sky, wishing for my father to emerge from behind the clouds, a ridiculous wish.

"Why did you have to leave me so soon?"

I grimaced, I still remember my mother's tears when my father died, I was a child could only stare at my mother confused by what had happened.

"You shouldn't have left me so soon if I knew what was happening now."

Slowly my tears fall, I need an answer for what is happening now.

"Nesa,"

"Rex?"

I looked around the room but there was no one. I grimaced again, I think I've gone crazy from hearing Rex's voice here.

"I miss you Rex"

My tears are getting heavier, my chest feels tight. My meeting with Rex was brief but I can't forget it.

"I believe you are the man in my dream,"

"You promised to tell me everything but you didn't do it at all,"

I closed my eyes, I felt the cold air add to my chest tightness.

I'm laughing. "I don't know why my luck is so bad, maybe it's true that I was cursed,"

"Nesa?"

A voice called out to me again, I covered my ears.

"Nesa, are you okay?"

Someone touched my shoulder. I opened my eyes, I saw Deloz who was looking at me with a worried look.

"Are you crying? What's wrong?"

Deloz aligns his body with mine, he wipes my tears with his hand.

"It's okay," I shook my head.

"I just miss my parents,"

"I went into this world without saying goodbye to my mother, I'm sure she was worried about me,"

"Relax," Deloz said softly.

"You're not alone here anymore, you have me,"

Deloz holds my shoulder, he smiles at me.

I smiled sadly, I removed his hand from my shoulder. I was touched by him but I have to remember he is a vampire, I can't believe it.

"Don't you want to tell me about Oxara? Tell me, I'm ready to hear it."

I turned to look at Deloz. He fell silent at my words, he stood up and walked to the window.

"You're not ready yet,"

"I'm ready," I said aloud.

"Are you sure who you are?"

"Yes,"

I nodded confidently at him, Deloz sighed, he started his story.
