"Why would you want to know that if it wasn't for betrayal?" Hevan said to Rex with a sigh trying to calm his emotions.
"There's someone I want to contact in the vampire world," said Rex. He straightened his robes and picked up his fallen book.
"Who?" Hevan said but then he realized that Rex wouldn't tell him.
"What is written in the book is true. I don't know where you got that information from, but it's true that vampires can communicate with us. Just like the former Denux who suddenly appeared in front of me when I was a child and told me to spy on the witches," Hevan said, he tried to remember what happened to him.
"I don't know how long we've known each other but since he first appeared I felt familiar with his face," Hevan continued, then turned to Rex.
