Chapter 15 - Starting To Unfold

"You think you've caught all of us?"

A woman chuckles, I approach her, her words bother me.

"What do you mean?"

"We're both topaz, you think we're that stupid?" he smirked.

"One day we will take revenge on you,"

I lifted him to face me, he winced as his body pulled.

"What do you mean," I said coldly, I pulled her body even more.

He coughed, blood dripping from his mouth. He laughed with his mouth full of blood.

"Why? Are you frustrated that you can't read my mind?"

I growled, I threw him on the floor, the floor was immediately covered in blood.

"Why do you think the chosen topaz order is Lord Oxara's subordinate?"

"Right, that's because no one can read our minds,"

He smirked again after speaking, I hit the iron bars hard, I glared at them one by one, I want to kill them now but I remember the consequences if a higher-up kills his own order.

I opted out of the dungeon. The woman's words bothered me, is there really anything left? If true, it means that the perpetrators who attacked Nesa were really from the topaz order.

"But how can anyone get away with being arrested," I said frustrated, because if he really is a traitor then he's old.

I sighed. "It doesn't matter how he got away, what's important now is that I have to find the culprit quickly. Just wait traitor."

Tucsany POV off

Elsewhere, Ebony goes to a diamond-order village to inspect a suspected hut. Many eyes were on him but he didn't care.

Ebony knocked on the door of the hut but there was no answer, he went around the hut but there was no life. He decided to sneak into the hut, it was very dark, especially with the weathered condition of the hut adding to the creepy impression.

Ebony walked slowly, he opened the window of the hut, the sunlight coming in allowed him to see what was inside the hut. Empty, he was surprised to see the room without a single thing. Ebony ran to the kitchen but there was also nothing.

"Shit I was careless!"

Ebony hits the wall in annoyance, he should have checked this hut earlier, he shouldn't have been swayed by rumors that the diamond order couldn't have committed a crime.

Ebony calmed herself, she slowly focused her thoughts. An aura of anger slowly enveloped him. Ebony chuckled, he opened his eyes.

"There's no mistaking it, he was the one who set the fires."

Ebony felt the same anger aura as during the fire, she grimaced, she should have believed what Irene said.

Ebony finally came out of the hut, he asked the local residents.

"Has the owner of the hut returned yet?"

They shook their heads. "He hasn't come back at all since you came here the other day,"

Ebony clenched his fists, his hut was too clean, he got nothing. There was no way his hut would be clean if he didn't come back, someone had to help him.

"But do you have any business with Lokey?" a resident asked.

"Lokey?" Ebony is confused. but then he realized that Lokey was the name of the person he was looking for.

"Nothing," replied Ebony curtly.

"No way, you've come here twice and today you barged into his hut,"

The residents looked at him in amazement because he dared to say that to Ebony.

"You know that the order of diamonds and the order of onyx have a bad relationship,"

Ebony stared with interest at the woman who spoke. "Then?"

"Your coming here scares us."

His hand pointed around. Ebony followed the direction of his hand, it was true that people looked afraid of him.

"I don't want to cause trouble here," Ebony said while looking at the residents.

"Then can you tell me the purpose of your coming here?" the woman spoke again.

"Right, you should say it,"

"Yes, right,"

Residents began to dare to speak, they shouted the name Ebony.

"Shut up,"

The residents were silent for a moment. They were afraid to see Ebony's face turn serious.

"The owner of the hut can be a criminal,"

The atmosphere immediately turned into chaos, many of them did not accept Ebony's words.

"Our Order cannot possibly commit a crime,"

"Right, keep your word."

"Calm down," the woman's voice managed to silence the residents.

"Do you have any evidence that Lokey committed a crime?"

Residents waited for an answer from Ebony, but Ebony did not answer.

"You know what you say can be misunderstood."

"I don't have any evidence," Ebony looked at the woman.

"That's why I went to his hut but his hut was empty, he realized that he was under suspicion,"

Whispers were heard again, many residents doubted Ebony's answer.

"On what basis do you accuse Lokey," said one resident.

"If he did commit a crime, you should have told us instead of sneaking around like this."

Ebony sighed in annoyance, he clenched his fists. He didn't have time to serve them, he had to find the culprit soon.

"It's your attitude like this that makes me not want to ask for your help,"

"You wouldn't believe it if your order committed a crime,"

"Because it's not really possible," said the woman in front of Ebony.

"I will prove if he did commit a crime,"

Ebony glared at the residents. "He is a suspect in the academy fire."

"If he ran away because of you, be prepared to take responsibility,"

Residents were silent to hear Ebony's words, many did not believe that the perpetrators of the fire came from the diamond order.

After saying this, Ebony stepped away from the crowd. His mind was messed up, he lost track of the culprit, and now he's making trouble with the diamond order. Even though he wasn't lying, he was sure there would be riots soon.

"Ebony,"

Cloe greeted Ebony but Ebony just looked away without paying attention to Cloe's greeting.

"What's wrong with Ebony, he looks angry," Cloe asked Rex. Ebony was a bit cold but he never saw Ebony angry.

"Who knows,"

Rex looked at Ebony who was walking briskly towards the main hall, he gave off an unpleasant aura.

"We should focus on getting into Shamrock's private room," Rex said.

"Right, then what's your plan?"

Rex didn't answer, he kept walking until he reached Shamrock's private room.

"I asked what should we do Rex?" Cloe sounded annoyed, the hunch was that Rex was going to come up with some crazy plan to get in there.

"Shrink your body"

"What?"

Cloe looked at Rex in disbelief, she pointed at herself.

"You told him to shrink down to get in there?"

Rex nodded slowly. "You're crazy Rex!"

Cloe shook her head, she didn't agree with Rex's crazy plan.

"You have other plans?" Rex asked questioningly.

Cloe stuttered, she couldn't answer but she still shook her head.

"No, I still don't want to. What if it gets caught, you don't think about it?"

Rex sighed. "Compared to me who can't shrink myself, who is more likely to be found out?"

"Come in quickly, I'll be on guard in front of you, if there's anything I'll code it for you,"

Rex pushed Cloe's body to immediately shrink her body but Cloe still refused.

"I still want to live Rex,"

"You don't want to help this friend of yours?" Rex's face turned sad.

Cloe frowned, Rex never made such a face. He sighed.

"Okay, but only this time,"

Rex's face brightened, he pressed Cloe's body to shrink.

"That's not the way, stupid Rex," said Cloe annoyed with Rex's behavior.

"Take good care of the outside, I don't want to die silly inside."

Rex gave two thumbs up. Cloe shook her head, she didn't expect her friend to be like this for the sake of a girl, love is terrible.

Cloe cast a spell, slowly shrinking her body, she slipped through under the door. It was quiet when he went inside. He saw the sea and many plants here.

"This place should be a vacation spot, it's too beautiful,"

He stepped into another room, but because of his small body, he had to run to get there quickly.

He comes to a room full of books, no one is here. He climbed into a chair in the middle of the room, there was an open book.

"Order of diamonds,"

Cloe read the writing in the book, she read another line but she found it difficult because the writing was too big. He climbed onto the bookshelf behind the chair, he began to read the writing on the book.

"History of the order of diamonds, an order that cannot possibly commit evil,"

Cloe frowned, why did Shamrock read the history of the diamond order? Shouldn't he be reading the history of his own order? Cloe stretched out her hand to turn the next page but her ears caught a sound.

He strained his ears, his voice echoing in the next room. He restrained himself from turning the pages of the book, he got off the bookshelf and pressed his ear against the wall.

"What happened to that person in the vampire world?"

"Vampire world?" Cloe was surprised, she put her ear back.

"I don't know, I didn't see him after he was taken by Denux the other day,"

Cloe slowly stepped towards the source of the voice, she wanted to know who was speaking.

"Are you sure what you saw was the girl I meant?"

"I'm sure, but yesterday Denux brought in two women, one young and one old,"

"What do you mean?"

Cloe came in through the door, sneaking in, though she shouldn't have been caught by her small body. She saw the man the other day when she peeked into Shamrock's room as well as the man with pale skin.

Vampire? Is he really a vampire? How did he get into the wizarding world? Is Shamrock allied with the vampires?

Many questions were running through his head but he tried to focus on listening to their conversation.

"I don't know who it is, but I saw her hair was yellow,"

"What?" the other man was surprised.

While Rex who was standing guard at the door looked nervous, he couldn't wait to know what Cloe found there. He peered through the doorway hoping to find something.

"What are you doing now?"
