Chapter 120 - Chilly Faith vs Trees for Napping

Waniya looked at her system screen.

[ Player < Waniya> has entered a new realm and doesn't need sponsors. Do you wish to continue having this setting?]

"....Yes." Waniya smiled "Let's reach the end together."

[ Sponsors are surprised by the uncommon situation...------]

"What's going on?" Waniya wondered as she dodged twigs and leaves

The man pushed in front of Waniya, spun the spear, and destroyed an incoming root.

"Head in the game, Waniya?" he asked

Waniya closed her screen. A blue sword appeared in her hands and she looked at the woman. She let out a breath of cold air.

"Always." Waniya smiled

She pushed forward with her spikes following her. Branches pushed upward to her and spikes sprung out of its surface. Waniya raised her sword. Lines became visible on the metal, and it divided and extended into a whip.

The cut pieces of wood turned into thin needles, were aimed at her, and flew forward to her target. Waniya didn't turn to the needles and a circle on a spike came out. The man came out of the circle and deflected the attack.

Waniya's whip returned to sword form and she clashed with the woman's staff. The sound waves initiated burst the eardrums of weak creatures. The remaining circles on Waniya's spikes came out as their weapons clashed strongly.

Waniya pulled her sword and thrust it into a circle and the tip stabbed into the antagonist's back. Green liquid dribbled out of the wound as Slumber Tree clutched Waniya's shoulders.

Her fingers drilled into her skin, the spikes curved towards them, and fired a laser toward them. Branches rose to form a shield but were frozen to the core. Slumber Tree tossed Waniya into the freezing beam.

A circle appeared behind her. Slumber Tree turned to where Waniya appeared and swayed her staff into her head. The villainess used her wings to capture the wind and stay airborne. The spikes flexed to Slumber Tree, branches ascended and Waniya raised her fingers.

She pulled her fingers in the air and everything in between her and Slumber Tree shredded up into thousands of finely cut pieces. Roots coated in a grey material snapped some of Waniya's strings which made cuts develop on her hands.

The man ran forward and sliced through the grey-coated roots. He cruised out of the way as freezing beams soared past him. The tip of Slumber Tree's staff opened up, a grey orb materialized and the beams dispersed in various paths.

Waniya's circles emerged where the beams were heading and teleport them into the course of the enemy. The enemy deflected them again and it became a monotonous cycle.

"WYN!!!" Waniya yelled

The man grinned, "About time."

A roar resonated everywhere, and the hail descended more intensely as Wyn's appearance altered and a mist encircled him. Waniya flew toward the transforming Wyn.

"HEY, DAMN TREE!!!" Waniya yelled "DIE!!!!"

Blue-white flames raced forward to Slumber Tree, all the circles arose in the fire's path, and when it came out as a 1900-foot tidal wave.

"Fuck." Ivan commented looking at the incoming attack

Navaeh produced water to surround them and Becca supported it. They somehow survived moving on.....

Slumber Tree scrutinized ahead as the mist cleared. Waniya stood on the neck of something holding reins and she glimpsed at the creature. It had four bat-like wings, a tail with a trident, and four anthers on its head. It was a dragon of some kind that permitted the girl to mount it.

Waniya's creatures fought Slumber Tree's forces. The noise was echoing everywhere but Waniya heard none of it. She was still trying to adjust to the new power within and felt like she was forgetting something.

"How does this work?" Waniya mumbled

Wyn answered, "However you want it to. Let's push forward."

Waniya thought over his words, took a breath in, and shot freezing beams again. She spread out her finger, the beams began to spiral and turn in unpredicted patterns. Wyn flew forward, and Slumber Tree smiled.

The trees stood up and giant flowers bloomed on their branches. The flowers spat out flaming seeds, Waniya pulled her fingers and poured energy into her strings. She cut through the soil under her, some gorillas picked the broken earth and threw them to the fire-seed shooters.

Waniya jumped off Wyn's back towards Slumber Tree, her sapphire eyes glowed brightly and their weapons collided. It was like an explosion. Every contact between Waniya's sword and Slumber Tree's staff caused waves that pushed away both forces away.

Freezing beams curved toward Slumber, roots took the hits for her as branches stretched out toward Waniya but strings sliced them up. Wounds increased on their bodies but the adrenaline was making it impossible to even notice.

Slumber Tree made all her forces assemble under them, the root and branches crushed them up. Waniya frowned at her but later gaped after seeing a humongous red gem formed and being held by plant life. The gem glowed up and glared in their direction.

Wyn flew down to the Pillar as the spikes combined and attached to Waniya's left forearm while blood dripped down. She bit down on her tongue to stop a pained scream. The circles integrated as well, tuned into an orb, and affixed themselves to the spike.

"We have finished playing with you. We must eliminate you, you will have my eternal respect." Slumber Tree said seriously

Waniya smiled with tears in her eyes, "I'm not going down that easily, you damn firewood."

The clouds in the sky advanced rapidly and merged above them into a white circle. It lit up too, firing a thin beam into Waniya's spike and she screamed a desperate warrior cry. The red gem spat out a large beam at them.

Bloody tears came out of her eyes as she looked at the red beam and Slumber Tree. Her orb turned into a snowflake, shot she thought as the pain pulsed through her every cell and screamed that she had reached her limit.

Waniya pushed her left hand forward ignoring her brain's flight response like a fool. Oddly a smile appeared on her face.

"WANIYA!!!" Wyn yelled
