The ground started to shake and the roots of the tree started to rise out of the ground. New trees started to grow and the battlefield turned into a dense forest. The fauna and flora were larger than human beings and the Nights race combined.
The roots bashed on the remains of the barrier trying to spread out again. A silver dome covered the city and the enlarged rainforest. The battle was forced to a halt since they couldn't see the enemies through the tall grass blades.
"What just happened?" Drone wondered
Zelda appeared and looked at the flora around them.
[One-third of < Rulers of Chaos> has entered a state of calm and affected the surrounding area. Calm and Chaos are in balance within the area.]
"State of Calm?" Yasmin repeated
"Yes. One of the boys is mentally at peace for a while. Which doesn't happen at all since we have so many heads and thoughts overlapping or against each other" Zelda sighed
"It says Calm and Chaos are in balance?" Ivan asked as he helped Sera down a grass blade
Zelda smiled, "The eye of the storm is also in the storm. So I don't find it odd since they are different sides of the same coin."
"....I see..." Caesar replied looking around
Besides its large size, the forest was without a doubt beautiful. Echoes of the roots bashing the dome overlapped with the sounds of nature.
[Additional Mission triggered: Wake up
One of the rulers of Chaos has entered the state of dreams. The creatures made by Calm are trying to infest the surrounding areas. A barrier has been placed but it won't last long. Please, find and wake the ruler up.]
"That's a tough one." Zelda exclaimed, "But understandable."
"Why?" the players asked with complicated expressions
Zen appeared and answered, "Well Calm is trying to make this the rulers' territory since the calmness of those boys is just as aggressive as their Chaos. Best of luck, you'll need it"
The couple vanished and their attires changed.
"So...we're explorers now." Yasmin snickered "Never a boring day."
"I suppose." Ivan sighed putting Sera on his shoulders
"I can walk." Sera flushed
Ivan smiled, "I know. I just want to carry you and make sure nothing bites you."
"B..bite...." Sera repeated
Ivan sighed since he knew his wife had a fear of anything in the insect and spider categories of life. He started to soothe her nerves with a charming smile.
"Let's get moving..." Kali laughed
Jaxon hit Kali's head, "Go to where?"
"Um...maybe...the middle?" Navaeh answered
Everyone turned to her and probed her to continue. Navaeh's wings came out and covered her face while everyone waited for her to focus on her thoughts.
"Well....the first that appeared is the one in the middle. Also...Granny Zelda said Calm and Chaos are the same but Calm can only be in the middle of Chaos like a storm....is what I think...but I can be wrong...." Navaeh said
CLAPPING
"Then we'll go there." Urvi smiled disrupting Navaeh's wave of negativity
Yasmin smiled, "It's been a while since we've just been Players. Remember the war? I never thought I'd be making history."
"Yeah...you're right." Waniya grinned "How odd...how they brought us together."
Jaxon cars appeared and they got into them. They set off to the center of the forest and the leading car stopped in front of a giant beetle. Sera screamed and the wheels turned.
"This...might be more challenging than we thought." Dylan shrugged
They say the beetle turn into a humanoid form. It spread out its wings, and more humanoid beetles joined and started to chase after them. Sera took out her bow and fired flamed arrows as she shrieked
*CRASH*
"I hit something!!" Becca announced
Claws appeared from in front of her and Becca accelerated onto whatever it was.
"Yep...you hit something indeed." Xayn frowned
Laasya stood up from behind the car and the color in Kali's face drained out. Her eyes honed in on the person who ran over her with a glint of mercilessness.
"I...I don't even have a driver's license. They put me behind the wheel." Becca sulked
Laasya sighed and got into the car with a heavy heart. They didn't have time for this, Laasya entered the car and Kali stepped on the gas.
Laasya turned around and a wall of flames rose upwards. Humanoids came from another direction forcing the villains to turn and they gaped at a sinkhole in front of them.
"Fuck...." Ivan frowned looking at the smiling beetle humanoids
"KEEP GOING!!" Jaxon yelled
A road appeared and the vehicles plunged downward. When the beetles looked down they saw Navaeh. She let out a scream and pushed the insects upwards.
Tree roots grew and started to aim towards them and Caesar made shadow spikes slice through them. The detached timber started to grow towards them. Urvi used gravity to push those on the right side and Yasmin used wing magic on those on the left.
Navaeh screamed toward them to propel the vehicles forward. She pushed herself forward as well and grabbed Sera's hand as Jaxon made rockets attached onto the cars.

"FIRE USERS!!" Vance yelled
Yuki was in the direction they were flung themselves to. She stuck her strings and a column of ice came up as Jaxon jumped forward into the air. His black flames pushed forward intensely fighting the large column as Reese's drones spread out and fired at Yuki's instrument. She was determined not to be overwhelmed, keeping her concentration and focus despite the onslaught against her.
Yuki made more ice columns and Waniya's green eyes turned light blue. Waniya pulled her hands towards herself and the columns broke into fine particles like fog. Through the fog, arrows struck Yuki's body as the vehicles zoomed past.
Before Yuki could react, black flames overwhelmed her ice pillar. The flames rushed into her although they didn't even hear a scream and saw her eyes looking angrily at them.
