Eros walks away without looking or listening to Cleopatra.
Cleopatra just stares at Eros's marks while he leaves.
Cleopatra walks out of her bathroom naked and goes into her enormous bedroom. The bedroom has wooden furniture, some modern and ancient decorative piece. The moonlight from the window directly falls on her king-size bed which is covered with while silk bedsheets and feather touch pillows. She gets into bed and puts the blanket on her. She keeps staring at the ceiling of her bedroom.
Cleopatra looks out of the window and says, "This land has only made animals, lovers died long time ago, I wish never had scars of wars but of love!"
EROS'S ROOM
Eros is in his black training pants without any piece of clothing on the top. All his scars are not visible now. He is swinging his sword in the air doing his training.
Cleopatra's word are echoing in his mind, "They just need an animal to fight. Seeing your clean & clear skin feels like you have never been to war!"
His eyes turn red, and his hands start shaking, and he is perspiring heavily. Eros looks up and raises his arms up in the air and groans loudly. "Ahhhhh," he holds the sword with both of his hands and stabs himself in his feet.
The flood slowly flows out of the wound. Eros stares at the wound while panting. He takes out the sound out of his feet and slowly the wond and the scar heels itself
CLEOPATRA'S BEDROOM
Cleopatra is rolling on her bed. She is not able to sleep; she gets up from bed and walks up to her window. She silently stares at the bright full moon.
Cleopatra notices a silhouette of a person sitting on the branch of the tree. She gets suspicious and yells in the direction of the silhouette. "who is there? Who are you? If you want to live, then surrender or else, I will get you killed by my guards!"
The silhouette jumps from the tree into the window. Cleopatra gets scared, and she hides her naked body behind the white curtains. He turns around and Cleopatra gets shocked after seeing Eros.
Cleopatra asks "Eros! what the hell are you doing here? You know I can get you killed for spying on the princess!"
Eros turns towards her while facing down. "I am sorry, Princess. Your words were echoing in my ears. They are ruining my peace!"
"What words?"
"That I am no human and only a blood hungry predator whom the king is using for his own needs. Do you really think that? Am I really an animal?" Eros asks with his head hunkered down.
Cleopatra slowly gets out of the curtain and walks naked towards her shower. She gets in and comes out in her blue laced silk night gown.
"Eros, I didn't know that would hurt you so much, and will get you thinking about it! Are you hurt?" asks Cleopatra while standing behind him.
Eros nods in yes.
"And what about the pain you and your king gave me?" asks Cleopatra.
"I don't know what you talking about!"
Cleopatra walks forward towards the window, and says, "Eros, you are an immortal, not everyone here is immortal but have some kind of powers and some don't why can't we use this power for good why are we slaying the common people to capture the kingdom?"
"I am not the king your highness, I am just a soldier, a warrior. I am bound to protect this kingdom and obey the king! I am just doing my duty. How does that make me an animal?"
"And what about protecting me? Aren't you supposed to protect me, not just my body but soul and mental health too!"
"I am, and I think I am doing that very well. If I am not telling me where am I lacking? Tell me, what did you read in my eyes last night? What future did you see? Is it bad? Am I betraying? tell me, what did your powers made you see?"
"Yes, you are lacking, you know it very well, I don't like blood and gore, those tears of the helpless pierce my heart and breaks me into pieces I want you to stop all of that Eros, it hurts me to the soul!" Cleopatra walks towards him keeps her hand on his shoulder and continues to say, "can you promise me peace? Can you give me peace and protect my soul, Eros?"
"Yes, I will, but why I see those clouds of doubt in your eyes? Why is it there please answer me? What did you see? Can't you see loyalty in my eyes?"
"I already told you, your eyes they don't let me read them nor they allow me to look in the future!"
Eros kneels down to her and looks up towards her and says, "I surrender to you, please! Help me!"
Cleopatra compassionately looks into eros eyes. She bends over and holds his face in both of her hands; she touches her forehead with his forehead.
"To know yourself and to be-able to know your future, one should be in harmony with their past!"
They both close their eyes.
Cleopatra takes him into his mind..
Eros can't see anything. All he sees is darkness around him. A ray of lights hit him.
Eros finds himself in the forest. He walks ahead, and he is flustered to see himself in the empty forest with no animals. He continues to walk forward and hears a strange noise, Eros right hand goes on the left side of his waist, and gets shocked after seeing his sword is not there, he tries to search for his laser gun, but he has no weapon with him.
Eros takes a deep breath and continues to move forward. He climbs on the tree and gets surprised after seeing a deer playing around a bull. He looks carefully and tries to figure out what is happening around him, what he is seeing.
Suddenly, Eros slips and falls into the darkness again. He opens his eyes and finds himself in a closed room. He looks around and sees a ceiling made of dry grass, walls made up of mud. The room feels very cool.
He turns left and sees a man and a woman in a completely strange attire; the women have draped a single long around her whole body, without any inner clothes, and the man is shirtless and he has wrapped a white cloth around him. Eros struggles to see their face. He moves towards them yelling, "Hello, who are you and where am i? Can't you see me? Hello!"
The couple leans into each other, and Eros tries to jump between them, but he falls into the darkness again.
"I am sorry, I can't hold more, my energy is draining, I can't hold more!" Eros hears a panting voice of Cleopatra.
Eros opens his eyes, and Cleopatra falls into his arms. She is panting and sweating. Eros gets scared. He picks her up and puts her in bed.
"What happened?" Eros asks.
"I just can't see past and future, but can show it too. But, it drains all my energy, and this is the first time I have tried it!"
Eros holds her hand with his right hand and reaches his left hand to his pocket, and takes out the edible water balls and feeds it to Cleopatra. she drinks it and smiles at him.
"Why are you smiling?"
"You will know it soon, but won't you ask me what was all that you witnessed right now?"
"I do want these answers but, right now you need rest! So stop talking and go to sleep, okay?"
"Hmm, okay!"
Eros puts the blanket on her. He caresses her forehead.
"Please give me the permission to leave, Princess!"
"Umm, you sure you want to go? You forgetting something?"
"Yes, I am, but I think I have lost that right along ago!" Eros turns towards the window and walks towards the window.
"The visuals you saw were you and me from the different time in the past and even from the different universe. I wish I was there and not here!"
Eros stops and freezes in his place.
"Why would you show me all of this now, after everything has destroyed?"
"Destruction is the first step for development and re-construction, Eros! I know you are not a fool. You are the commander of the Osiris kingdom's army, and still you choose to act like a kid. Don't I know what is going on?"
"If you know it, then why you choose to do this?"
"Trust me Eros, this path you and your king are on will only have regrets and tears in the future. You will not have answers to the cry of widows and orphans you will make!"
Eros turns towards Cleopatra and starts moving towards her, but the emergency sirens in the palace, rings loud.
Eros and Cleopatra get alert.
"Attack, someone has attacked us, I have to go!" Says Eros and jumps out of the window.
