*Crack*
Somehow what can only be describe as a deep sound reverberated across space-time, as the very fabric of reality was opening a wound upon itself. What lie beyond was incomprehensible to the human eye, a quantifiable absence, a nothingness that was yet still something.
Between the cracked folds of space a light brighter than 10,000 suns started to glow and fan out in all directions.
*shwal* *Zuum*
A almost spiritual looking white object catapulted out of the crack at speeds beyond human capabilities, 1000s of times the speed of light. Before abruptly coming to a halt.
The light sat motionless floating in the great abyss seemingly surveying the view before it, though it was impossible to tell if this was actually the case.
*boom*
Appearing to have found it's target the light suddenly accelerates, travelling deeper into the emptiness of space. Travelling straight towards a certain spiral galaxy. The crack left behind slow closed, leaving not a trace of it's presence behind.
The great "silence" returned to this part of the universe.

A sound similar to a jet fighter dropping out of flight, resounded across space. Sound is a strong word, it would be better to describe this phenomenon as a ripple.
"Quellion, the fluctuation in space seems to have stopped. This is the exact area the disturbance was felt." called one of the blue skinned humanoid creatures located around the bridge of what appeared to be a sleek starship.
"Any further readings?" Standing a top a central command bridge, stood a commanding yet beautiful woman with ocean blue skin and deep violet eyes.
"No Quellion, no more data can be found, in fact the area seems to be void of anything except general background readings."
"A Type 3.8 CIvilisation and yet what happened here remains a mystery even to us. Hmm."
"Quellion, if I may. It could have been a false reading, I suggest we check our systems."
"Hm, Celen run full diagnostic."
"Yes, Quellion" A refined feminine voice resounded around the bridge.
~Nanoseconds later.
"Full diagnostics complete Quellion, disruption detected in quantum wave receiver. Anomaly observed predicted to be false, with 99.99% probability."
"Thank you Celen. Hm, something still feels off but we will have to close this case given the overwhelming predictions."
"Okay, Celen take us out."
"Yes, Quellion"

The starship of gargantuan size, vanished into the dark again. Silence likely to rein here, for a very very long time.

The white light halted abruptly, a white yellowish glow reflecting off it.
Far below, a great blue marble resides, a distinct flash of blue glints in the "eyes" of the light flare.
"Finally found you, after search time immemorial." An ethereal yet plain synthetic voice sounded from the core of the white light.
The white light zoomed off, down to the planets surface towards London England. Towards the person where our story begins.
