(Sandy's Perspective)
With the Candlewood blood bond removed, I can no longer hear or speak to my sister through the wolf link, and without alerting everyone, have no way to tell her to flee.
Not that it would matter.
After what Sean says to Silas, the two spend a long minute glaring at each other. When Sean refuses to back down, eventually, Silas steps away. Bending down, he offers Darby an insistent hand and pulls her up, escorting her back to Ian.
"Gentlemen," Silas says to two of his security guards, "if you would, please, collect the iron from the Candlewood leadership and see them to their aircraft. Their business here is concluded."
"Uh-uh," Jack says firmly. "There's no way I'm returning these to you. They're torture devices."
"Take them then. I can have more forged."
"They're also evidence," Jack counters with deadly earnestness. "She's the daughter of a god, Silas. There'll be literal and figurative hell to pay for the harm to her."
