Snow White bought it hook, line, and sinker. She grasped Kane's hands in hers and looked at him very seriously.
"Casey…you're under arrest for four people's murders. I know it wasn't your fault so don't freak out, okay? I have a lawyer who's working hard to take care of this for you so you can get the help you need. I know this is stressful but I need you to talk to him and find out what's going on."
"Who?" Kane asked, playing dumb.
Snow White bit her lip. "Well, Candy. These two people I don't know named Ashley Call and Martin Candless. And Jimmy Otto, my old stalker."
"Oh."
He went quiet, pretending to think it over so he could avoid saying anything else. If he let on that he already knew any of this, he would be in trouble. Playing dumb was absolutely vital here.
