Kane was furious. "How ungrateful! He's forgotten everything I've done for him, hasn't he? He always, always forgets! What do I have to protect him from? Everything! Most of all, I have to protect him from himself because he always gets into situations that don't end well for him.
"I always have to pick up the pieces. I always have to make sure he doesn't get in trouble. And does he care? No! He doesn't even realize all I've done for him over the years because he doesn't want to remember.
"He thinks he can go lah-dee-dah off into the sunset like a normal person and have some sort of fairytale ending? I don't think so! Because bad things happen when Casey loves people. He hasn't said it yet, has he? He isn't going to. I won't let him!" Kane roared.
"You won't let him?" Snow White asked in disbelief.
"No," Kane said with another laugh, unable to stop himself. "So get out of here before you find out why."
