Something weird was going on with Casey. It may have started with that Halloween party but Kane noticed that after Thanksgiving there were two plates of leftovers in the fridge. Where had he gone to celebrate another holiday and who would have bothered giving him leftovers?
Leftovers for two. Did whoever it was know about Kane? There were very few people that knew about both of them to his knowledge.
He was pretty sure he got his answer a few weeks later. He came to in an unfamiliar apartment and saw Snow White…and a box of candy canes on the table next to her.
That wimp! He got set off and had to retreat inside his head again.
Now Kane was stuck dealing with whatever was going on here. Why was he inside a girl's apartment?
"Are you okay?" she asked, a concerned look on her face.
"I'm deathly allergic to peppermint."
