It definitely couldn't have been Casey. If it happened at all, it had to have been Kane.
Kane had said that people didn't like their version of love. Had one of them been Ashley? Had he killed her to keep her quiet?
Devin looked at her in concern after the police left. "I'm assuming Candace Parker is Candy but who is Ashley Call? Did Casey ever mention her to you?"
"Not specifically," she hedged. "But the name Ashley did come up when he was talking to his hallucination of Kane the night he attacked me. I'm afraid Kane might have done to her what he did to me."
