The rest of September and part of October passed in a blur. Jenna was happy but that happiness was incomplete as she continued slogging her way through therapy.
They would be heading into the holidays fairly soon and she was bogged down about all of the ones Bryce missed out on because of her. It started when Wesley started talking about Halloween costume ideas a couple of weeks ago and hadn't stopped.
He had seen all of their son's previous Halloween pictures but it wasn't the same. He hadn't been able to take him trick-or-treating or carve jack-o-lanterns or go to the pumpkin patch all this time because of her.
Holidays had been hard for Jenna ever since they parted because they always made her think of her lost love but, guilt aside, they should be great this year now that they were together again. They were going to have a lot of fun and that was what she needed to focus on.
