Bryce ended up spending all of his lunch breaks for the next week with Peter and saw him almost every night. On Wednesday he had a Dungeons and Dragons meeting where he was the dungeon master and on Friday he babysat a couple of his nieces so his brother and sister-in-law could go on a date.
He was a rather entertaining person even if he was a bit awkward at times. He was a great storyteller too and had a way of spinning the dullest of anecdotes into something hilarious.
It was the first time he felt like he got along with another guy since he was in college. All of his friends sort of drifted away from him after his grandma died because he had been so depressed and difficult to be around.
They met up with Evan and Katie again once at another local favorite restaurant. The other days he ended up playing video games with Peter. The way he leaned into his moves as he played reminded Bryce of Tessa.
