When Sarah Mitchell got the call that her youngest son had been shot in the shoulder and was now joining her daughter in the Witness Protection Program, she collapsed into a chair under her. Her knees gave out on her completely.
"What happened?!" she screeched.
The FBI agent patiently explained the situation and she couldn't believe what she was hearing. Colton and Jonas had found Jenna BY ACCIDENT? Then her foolish son had to go and follow his sister and bring danger with him!
Sarah couldn't handle this. She had already lost her husband…losing her only daughter had been hard enough on a temporary basis but then they told her Jenna would be in the program permanently. She had been absolutely heartbroken but had done her best to carry on. Now she was losing not one but two of her children.
"Is this…is this going to be permanent?" she asked weakly.
