Once the nurse left, Jenna was alone with Killian. She was expecting the verbal thrashing of her life but didn't get it. Instead, he was almost too calm.
"How did Jonas know where you were? I need to know for my report."
"If I tell you, are you going to kick me out of the program?" she asked nervously.
"That depends on whether or not your brother was able to see Shaw's face. If he did, he'll be a witness and you can remain in the program with him. If not, you're on your own for breaking the rules."
Jenna's heart dropped. Oh. Technically she wasn't a witness anymore and she had broken the rules. They would only continue keeping her safe if it was because a family member requested she go under with them.
