Bryce had noticed Tessa was in a surprisingly good mood for the past couple of months. He couldn't help but wonder what exactly it was that made her feel normal again since she claimed she couldn't explain it. It also made him wonder if the time had come for him to propose or if it was still too soon.
Seeing her doing so much better was an incredible relief but he didn't know if it would be temporary or not. Maybe he should give it a little longer.
There wasn't any real rush, though he would prefer to officially make her his forever sooner rather than later. As long as she was by his side, that had to be good enough for him. Hadn't that been what he told himself from the beginning when he was intrigued by her light?
Bryce tried convincing himself of that as time went on but it became progressively more difficult. Especially now that she was so much happier and her light shone brighter than ever.
